Hallo. Ich bin Deshrill ein Amerikaner adventure-fan.

Ich eine DJ Online-Radioschau (die SCAD Radio) die Videospielmusik spielt. Diesen Samstag (21/5/2005 startzeit 6:00--8:00 PM [GMT -4 hours]) spiele ich Musik von adventures (Monkey Island, Gabriel Knight, Sam and Max, etc.).

Haben Sie Bitten für musik von adventures?

Hi,

I have to say, that this is a very good idea, congratulations!
I would like to hear some Grim Fandango and Syberia stuff, maybe you could play that.

Other question: Do I need a special program to listen to your radio program?

I hope the German wasn't too horrible. I used an online translation program and took a German class briefly about 4 years ago. :)

You should not need a special program to listen to my show. The website (http://www.scadradio.org) has a link to the stream to listen to it-- WinAmp should work fine. We also have a webcam stream via RealPlayer, but that is a bit buggy and laggy.

Syberia is a good idea! I haven't played that game, believe it or not (or a lot of other adventure games).

Look forward to chatting with you during the show (during the show you can chat with me via the AOL Instant Messenger nick SCAD Radio.

Hi,

no, it wasn't too bad I think^^
I'm German, so I do the same mistakes all the time:)
But I got another question: are you playing just music and how do you get the radio comments and news in? And whats Scat Radio? Is it from GTA or something?

SCAD Radio is the name of the college radio station I am a DJ for. SCAD stands for the Savannah College of Art & Design-- it is located in Savannah, Georgia in the US.

For each episode of my show, I make a CD full of songs, then proceed to play them, while making comments about the games or songs before each song is played. The show lasts 2 hours and, since I am graduating college, this one on Saturday is going to be my last radio show.

We can take normal phone calls in, but most people chat online during the show via AOL Instant Messenger.

Hope this helps some. :)

Just a reminder that my show Do the Mario, which will feature music from adventure games, comes on today from 6-8 PM (GMT -4 hours).

You can listen to it as a streaming MP3 or as a Real Video webcam stream at SCAD Radio.

Hope to chat with some of you during the show!

Oh what a beautiful idea!
What about some songs from non-adventure games?
Super mario for example - there are nice covers of it too. The Punk covers are quite funny and once i found a cover with an orchestra!
Or the tetris theme!
Lets get Retro! :o)

Unfortunately, the episode the aired yesterday was the last episode of my show on my college radio station...

I have been seriously considering doing a condensed version of it as an ongoing podcast (an MP3 people could download with video game music with me acting as DJ between songs, length would be 20-30 min), but not too sure on the legality. ;)

I am also not sure how to set up an RSS Feed for such a thing...
