Auch hier mal eine schnelle Bewertung, weil der Thread greifbar ist!

Fünf Punkte. Der erste Teil hat vielleicht nicht die Dichte und Atmosphäre späterer Episoden, aber es ist halt der erste Teil!

Und der Aufwand das Starterpack zu erstellen muss auch honoriert werden!

Sehe ich genauso. Es kommen zwar weitaus bessere Folgen in der Zukunft, aber es ist unbestritten 5 Punkte wert, dass hiermit dieses Projekt überhaupt ins Leben gerufen wurde.

Habe dieses Projekt vor kurzem erst entdeckt und nun schon fast alle Episoden durch. Hab mich heut auch endlich mal hier angemeldet und werd nun nach und nach mal alle Episoden bewerten.

Es würde mich ja reizen, auch mal ne Episode zu erstellen, aber da gehört verdammt viel Kreativität dazu. Und Grafiker bin ich leider auch keiner (das müsste ich klauen).

Du musst ja nicht unbedingt neue Grafiken erstellen. Es gibt so viele Ortschaften in Ronville, dass du die Hintergründe von denen auch nehmen darfst.

Maniac Mansion Mania is a series of graphic adventures created by Maniac Mansion fans that bring new life to this historic videogame. The series has an episodic setting so that each developer can contribute by adding their own story to the Maniac Mansion universe.

This first episode shows us Bernard's house for the first time and introduces the character of Britney Bernoully, his sister, and their idyllic "sibling love" relationship!

gibt ja glaub ich um die 40-50 fan made spiele was Maniac Mansion betrifft wa?

habe bis heute noch kein einziges davon gespielt. aber wenn , dann fang ich auf jedenfall beim 1. an und arbeite mich bis zum letzten durch

Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall die Spiele zu spielen! Es werden seit 2005 Episoden erstellt und da gibt es eine Menge zu spielen.

Mir gefällt Maniac Mansion Mania nach wie vor gut. Man muss aber auch wissen, dass die Spiele ein Freizeitprojekt sind von Fans für Fans. Wer schon die LucasArts-Adventures möchte, wird sich mit MMM schnell anfreunden. Auch wenn einige Episoden vielleicht nicht die Qualität von Monkey Island haben, sind sie trotzdem spielenswert.

Wenn du magst und die Lust hast, dann kannst du auch eine eigene Episode entwickeln und sie zu MMM beitragen.

@Giocherellone: Great work! You translated the very first episode of Maniac Mansion Mania into Italian and you fixed the problem with the Russian translation.

Are Uka, Alex ASP also interested to make other Russian translations of MMM episodes?
How did you manage to "hack" the already compiled Episode 1?

What a pleasure to find you again!

Yes, indeed it was a lot of work: first we decompiled the game, then utdefault from Monkey Island World Forum rebuilt the source code, using Bernard's starterpack (AGS version 2.72) as help, then we had to work to import the Russian version, with all the errors that happened because of the fonts.

Uka and Alex ASP were really a GREAT help and support!

The last hurdle was the graphics to be fixed for the home screen, and we thought of standardising it for all four language versions.

But in general we kept everything as in the original, as a rightful tribute to Lucasfan.

We are really happy with this work, both because it came out very well, and because it concerns a really historical episode of MMM, especially after the series has reached its 100th episode.
